I do that, and the appropriate window comes up, but the only item it gives me to select is the full version. &nbsp;I think it is part of the virus.<br />

I was able to get into the real one by entering the bios setup first.<br />

now it is gone again. &nbsp;It is intermittent. &nbsp;<br />

Again, i use F8 and get the Windows Boot Manager, but when it comes up the only selection I have is the full Windows XP??

The last time I actually got into it, I reset config.sys so that it should boot in safe mode...and still doesn.t. &nbsp;I think virus must be overiding.

Trying to clean virus off of netbook, running windows xp. &nbsp;Cannot get it to go into safe mode. &nbsp;I use F8, and I get the selection window, but it only gives me the option of opening in full Windows. &nbsp;Once open, I select the user to get into windows and the minute it opens I get the blue screen of death.<br />
