Need help finding correct drivers for RAID controller on Dimension E310
I have a Dell Dimension E310 with two 160GB HD's configured RAID 1. My PC has a virus and I'm going to have to reload it. My problem is I need the RAID driver to complete the installation. I have downloaded the below from Dell but I can't get it to work. It may be because I'm unable to determine which driver to use. When I use what I believe to be the correct drivers, the machines will BSOD after the RAID driver is installed.
If possible, I'm not interested in creating a slip stream disk. Thanks in advance.

It looks as though you need to know which chipset and controller you have. Do you need to create a floppy and load the driver at startup (F6)?

Yes.
Then your choice should be 2, 4, or 7. I would start with the most recent one first (2).

After pushing f6 and you are prompted for drivers it is the one labeled (ICH6M)
