Basically I need to write a script to create a folder in outlook named 'company files' and make it so that folder cannot be deleted.  I have been told that the best way to go about this is to create the folder as a system folder.  so far i have been able to create the folder by using the code below, but am having ALOT of trouble setting the folder permissions via script.

any help is greatly appreciated
Const olFolderInbox = 6

Set objOutlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
Set objNamespace = objOutlook.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set objFolder = objNamespace.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderInbox)

strFolderName = objFolder.Parent
Set objMailbox = objNamespace.Folders(strFolderName)

Set objNewFolder = objMailbox.Folders.Add("Business Records")

Hi, albe24.

It's impossible to create a folder in a user's mailbox that cannot be deleted.

Sorry, but I have to object.  I stated clearly that the author's goal is impossible.
