Hi, i am using a printer to encode smartcards. Is there any software i can use to verify what is being encoded?

This should be a software function of many card printers/encoders.  If you are not able to find this in the instruction manual, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer to make sure they support it.

i am using fargo hdp5000 but the manual i have has nothing on smartcards reading and writing

This is the deal, I have a fargo HDP5000 with smartcard encoder and i have SLE4428 smartcards. I need to encode SS number on the smartcards. How best to achieve this? I have less than a day to do this..
I need help please!!!!!!!!!!!! Geeks out there please come to my rescue.

If the issue is that time critical I highly recommend contacting Fargo.  If there is a method they will know it, if there isn't they can tell you that and maybe offer a suggestion for recommended software or an add on module that can.

Generally speaking though, verifying encoding is more for mag stripes.  Unlike a magstripe, smartcards have an integrated circuit that can detects issues so usually verifying is not as much of an issue in most cases.
