Crystal Report 8.5 / VB6 - New command field is missing

Hi!

I have a VB6 project using Crystal Report 8.5.  There is a report inside my VB project that is using a Data Environment Command.

I went to the command, modified the SQL query so that it would add a few fields.  When I open my Crystal Report (dsr file), when I toggle the field view and I can see

Database Fields -> DataEnv_Command11 -> My command fields

However, the new fields are missing.  If I add a new database to my project and reselect this command, I can see the new fields.

The problem is all the fields are linked to this object, so if I rename the object, the fields follow.  If I delete the object, all the fields in my report are also deleted.

Is there any way to refresh the existing connection so that it sees the new fields?
