If you can get the IP address of the printer (usually you can print a configuration page) you can set up a Standard TCP/IP port and connect to it that way.  Just use the Add Port dialogue and type in the IP address and you should be good to go.
On the domain computer that's "hosting" the printer, add the username and password you use to logon to the non domain computer.

You can add that account by right clicking 'My Computer', goto manage, local users and groups. Add the account in users. Then try adding the printer by going to

Start, Run, \\"domain computer name"

Right click on printer, and click connect.

Try that.
