Replacing both damaged drives in a Raid Mirror

I am running small business server 2003.  I have two 200GB Sata hard drives in a raid 1 mirror.  It is using a PCI Raid Controller(Promise FastTrak TX4310). One drive has failed completely, the other is also failing but still running.  I have acronis true image for sbs installed.  Currently the 200gb drive that is still running is plugged directly into the motherboard not the raid controller.  I have two new 500gb sata drives.  How do I rebuild the raid mirror with the two new 500gb drives.

thanks!

Have you been able to image the 200gb drive? you will need to build a new raid array on the promise controller with you 500gb drives then restore the image.

so I build the new array with the blank 500gb drives, plug in the 200gb drive and clone onto the 500gb drives?

Will acronis see the 500gb drives as one drive?

Commented:
It will if they are created as a raid 1 array.
If the 200gb drive looks like failing it would be best to do it asap.
Also isn't your 200gb drive already plugged in? you dont want to plug that into the promise controller you just want to image to the new raid array.

The remaining  200gb is plugged directly to the motherboard, not the controller at the moment.

That sounds ok, you should be able to create the new array then image the 200gb to it.
