I suggest you to start with installing SP2. It resolves a bunch of problems also with explorer.exe
Hi -
The faulting module StackHash_1703  is a module that I usually find tied to Nero.  Do you have a Nero product installed?
The other item of interest to me is the exception code 0xc0000005 = a memory access violation.  Do you have an Internet Security package installed like NIS, N360, KIS, etc...?  If so, I suggest that you remove it as these personal firewalls tend to wreak havoc in Vista and now in Windows 7 unless they are painstakingly configured.  You will need the product manufacturer's removal tool - simply un-installing the IS package is not good enough b/c of boot and kernel mode drivers.
