403 this website requires you to login
Having an odd issue with one of our internal websites on just one computer. Running many websites which work fine on all of our computers internally (30+). This particular website giving the problem is the only website located on this server. Server is running IIS 6.0 and the website works perfect for every computer except one. This one computer just gets the "403 this website requires you to login" error. Have tried disabling firewall/UAC/AV/Windows Defender.. everything and still no go. The computer is running Vista. Not sure where else to check. Being that this problem only happens on 1 computer I'd think it was an issue with that computer rather than the server. Also DNS is correct and it does resolve to the correct internal IP address. Anyone able to help?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Maybe Integrated Authentication is disabled in IE? You can enable it in Internet Options -> advanced -> security section.

Well that's what I was thinking as well, that is why I disabled everything just in case. I even was logged in with Domain Admin. Aside from that, everyone in the website uses just a basic account, same user name, same permissions.
Are you sure there is no proxy server set at this machine?
Try to add the site in "Trusted Sites", the result is the same?
ASKER
No Proxy and I've tried adding the site to Trusted as well as Intranet sites
What version of IE do you use?
ASKER
it is on 8 now, happens with FF and Chrome as well or they just go to a blank white page.
Try to ping this website name. Is the result same as from another workstations?
If not - maybe you have to do "ipconfig /flushdns" maybe you have such name defined in your hosts file...
