SBS 2008 event id 6037 source LsaSrv logged hourly
Hi, my first post on EE...
Server is Windows SBS 2008 recently migrated (swing migration) from SBS 2003.
All is well apart from this event which is logged hourly:
Event 6037 Source LsaSrv:
The program w3wp.exe, with the assigned process ID 9396, could not authenticate locally by using the target name HTTP/remote.[MYDOMAIN].com . The target name used is not valid. A target name should refer to one of the local computer names, for example, the DNS host name.

</System>

<Data>w3wp.exe</Data>
<Data>HTTP/remote.[MYDOMAI N].com</Da ta>
</EventData>
</Event>
I found another similar post on EE and the question was marked answered but a detailed solution was not provided! The process identified in the event is the www worker process for the Sharepoint App Pool and according to the other post on EE I need to update some setting in Sharepoint with the internal server name rather than the publicy resolvable FQDN, but I can't find where to do so.
Any ideas?

Have you run the connect to the Internet and Set up my Internet Address wizards on the new SBS server?
ASKER
yes and i've rerun them both a couple of times too
I hate to direct you to another forum but Chad Gross who is a former SBS MVP (and probably will be again) is who we go to with Sharepoint Questions for SBS. Chad is found in the Microsoft public Newsgroups for SBS microsoft.public.windows.s erver.sbs If you repost there, I'll see if I can get Chad to look in on it and see if he has any suggestions. As far as I know, Chad doesnt participate on EE.
