I have inherited a 2008 server sbs running exchange 2007, I can telnet to the machine from the local lan and all my firewall rules check out for external access, but I cannot telnet externally and hense cannot send mail, my receiving connectors seem to be ok.

What checks should I run though, I can send out mail fine
