Hi All - I have a tangled question so I will be verbose (please excuse me)<br />
User had a network with DSl, single router (Netgear POS) - He purchased a second DSL line - Verizon unable to make both lines share the load.<br />
I recommended the Linksys VPN router with dual ports - Network is up and load balancing works - BUT - They have a wifi segment that requires a second router - The Netgear router assigns the WiFi portion to a 10.0.0. network which can not share the 'in house' peripherals - I attempted to assign the router into the 192 pool, but to no avail.<br />
Am I just dumb?<br />

Multiple DSL lines on network with WiFi

Networking software modules are interfaced with a framework implemented on the machine's operating system that implements the networking functionality of the operating system. The best known frameworks are the TCP/IP model and the OSI model. Systems typically do not use a single protocol to handle a transmission. Networking Protocols

Networking hardware includes the physical devices facilitating the use of a computer network. Typically, networking hardware includes gateways, routers, network bridges, modems, wireless access points, networking cables, line drivers, switches, hubs, and repeaters. But it also includes hybrid network devices such as multilayer switches, protocol converters, bridge routers, proxy servers, firewalls, network address translators, multiplexers, network interface controllers, wireless network interface controllers, ISDN terminal adapters and other related hardware.

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. The most familiar type of routers are home and small office cable or DSL routers that simply pass data, such as web pages, email, IM, and videos between computers and the Internet. More sophisticated routers, such as enterprise routers, connect large business or ISP networks up to the powerful core routers that forward data at high speed along the optical fiber lines of the Internet backbone. Though routers are typically dedicated hardware devices, use of software-based routers has grown increasingly common.
