I have a table that contains multiple entries for a S/N.   There is an entry in the table for every time the equipment is packed, recieved on site, packed on site for return, recieved back, and inventoried. The table is linked to the equipment table on the S/N, and the trip table on a TripA/N. .

The fields in the table are an A/N, TripA/N, S/N, BoxNumber, ScanDate, TransactionType

I need to be able to find the last time a given S/N was entered into the table.  I've tried using    Max() on the ScanDate and get an error about not having the TripA/N in an aggregate function.
