SecondLife helper application is broken
From the IE7 web browser, the link to teleport into a secondlife url is broken -- I recently had to reinstall SL, which appearently broke a "protocol" entry somewhere.
Steps: in the IE browser I can navigate to "http://slurl.com/secondlife/REGIONZ/244/103/656". Two of the hyperlinks are both supposed to launch a helper application in order to execute secondlife.exe. But clicking on the teleport control returns an "application not found".
This is not an in-world problem, but rather something about the browser failing to load the secondlife executable.
On this PC, I am not permitted to run any other browser.

The link doesn't work anymore because the location "REGIONZ" in second life was deleted or renamed. You'll have to find it manually and then re-link to it.

Your comment implies that this is a value within SL, but it's not a directory file, nor a registry entry -- based upon search results. Say more please.
