Cannot start 6811507: Invalid configuration,

I am getting the following error when I boot into Windows Vista:  "Cannot start 6811507: Invalid configuration"

Did that 3x and my HD is showing errors. Running CHKDSK several times does not fix all of the errors. Getting CRC errors when accessing programs. Going to replace HD and go to Win XP for now until Win 7 comes out. Thanks for the feedback.
Not much you can do with a HD problem but replace it.
chkdsk is NOT a disk diagnostic; you have to run the manufacturer's diag  to know the disk status !
