How to add 2000 users to a perticular group!
Hello EEs,
I have windwos server 2008. I want to add 2000 users who are in one OU called Year7.
Now i want these uses to be members of a Group called "TSGROUP"
What all I found that i need to do this one-by-one.
When I select all users in this group & see the propety i did not find the tab "Member Of"
Is there any option i can do it once at time.
An earlier reply will be appriciated.
Many thanks!

You should be able to select them all and then "add to group"
Note however that if some of them are also in other groups and some not, then when you select them all the "member of" tab may not be present as the information is different for some of those selected.
If you want to check who is in the TSGROUP then open the group and look at the "members" tab

KCTS - Thanks you too for the prompt reply!
See the attached screenshot of the multi-selected user's property.
None of the user belongs to other group.
Yes i can check the TSGROUP & can add the uses from OU Year 7, but again i need to select each user from the OU Year 7 i cannot select OU Year 7 here.
See the OU Tree I have configured here with the attached Screen.
Note : Sub Folder in OU Year 7 is empty.
Kindly advice.
Many thanks

KCTS - Thanks for your reply!
I understand that when i go to the add to group it works but you can guess how much time i will take to add each user to add from the particular group, since i am not able to add this group any option!
Yes, i agree that multi-selected users are into different-2 groups.
If it is possible using any script kindly advise to do the same or any other group policy can do the same work.
Awaiting for your earlier reply1
Many thanks!

Select them all, then right click and choose "Add to a group...", enter the group name, job done :)
If they're not in an easily selectable place there are scripted methods we can look at, but it sounds like they are all in one place?
