I got this error only once while our QA guy was testing our production images. Not sure if it's in our Code or Server 2003 related. He left for the day with application running on the test machine (both client and server on the same machine) &nbsp;and when returned next day morning, found that the machine was in hanged state. So he did hard reboot after wich the screen displayed this error message - &quot;run-time error '-2147023170 (800706be)': automation error the remote procedure call failed&quot; in one of ActiveX EXEs.<br />
