Outlook 2007 Change Time Zone, Leave All Day Events as Such

I just moved from NYC to CA and want to change my time zone in Outlook 2007.  I would like all the appointments that are not all day events to be moved from ET to PT, BUT I would like all day events to remain just that -- all day events (ie, I don't want to shift the all day events off of midnight to midnight).

Can you help me do this right?

Thank you.

When you moved, did you change timezone on your machine from eastern to pacific time zone?
Outlook should automatically pickup the new timezone.

Yes, Outlook picks it up just fine.  The problem lies in that the all day events now go from 9:00PM-9:00PM.  That's really the only issue.
Oh i see that it took the 3 hours behind as per the difference. Let me check if there are any settings.
Exactly.  An all day event gets stored as an event from midnight to midnight.  On changing timezones, then, you end up with the start and end times being shifted by the difference in the timezones.

Nice!  Thank you.  This did it.  There were a few events I had to fuss with manually, but basically this did the job.

For others:  You see that this does not change the system time zone (but rather just changes data in Outlook).  Just change your system time zone before or after you run this tool using the usual methods (eg, click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your screen > Change date and time settings... > Change time zone).
Thats great it worked out. Thanks.
