VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Error code: 1610.

I'm trying to convert a Windows NT machine to a VM using VMware VCenter Converter Standalone and when it trys to install the Agent on the remote system I get the following error:

Converter Standalone Agent installation failed on 'Server_NT1'. Error code: 1610.

I can't seem to find any info on this error, anyone have any ideas?

Try loading converter on the physical NT box instead of remote and then tell it to convert that machine. This should do the trick.

NT4 is not supported to be P2V as client, tru server or remotely

Shoot.. so no way to convert this machine? That's too bad, would love to get rid of this old goliath from our server room.

i made a guide here some time ago.. its an older version of vmware converter, but it still works great.

another solution is to boot it from a CD with vmware converter and convert it directly to your server. i have some documents on it somewhere, but we can go into that if the solution in the link i provided didnt work for you. (i created the guide as i had the same problem with installing vmware converter)
