How to edit _default.pif in windows vista
I would like to edit the properties of _default.pif in c:\windows folder in my pc running under windows vista. But when i click ok, i get the message

Sorry I did not understand what take ownership of the file means. Can you tell me the steps for the same.
Right click the file, select properties, then the "Security" tab. Now click on "Advanced", then the "Owner" tab. Click on "Edit" and add yourself, or better the Administrators group, to the owners of this file.
