Hardware breakpoint and software breakpoint

Please explain for me about hardware breakpoint and software breakpoint.
My idea folow:
- I connect a debuger to board test and i set a breakpoint in debug mode- > hardware breakpoint
- I run simulate mode and i set a breakpoint in debug mode -> software breakpoint
Please give me some example for your explain. Thanks

before prepare for recovery
i suggest u to clean disk recording (optical media only) with clean cotton+clean water/iso propyle.

if above method not fully work then u should send u critically damaged disk to professional data recovery company near ur location...
