How to assign function key "F1" to menuitem in WPF

Obviously assigning this key to InputGestureText property doesn't work alone. It was pretty much straight forward in reqular windows forms but doesn't seem that's the case anymore.

Thank you for the links but they are both targetting the application wide Funtion keys, so the question is how we can perform different actions with same function key on different WPF forms?
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.
