Remote Desktop Printer sharing problem

i'm using a win xp pro, a printer(hp laserjet 1020)  installed on usb port..
when i connect to another computer having win 2003 os via remote desktop i can access hp 1020.
but there is another computer with win 2003, when i connent through remote desktop i cannot see hp 1020..
consider:
-   i found when i install a printer on LPT port, i can access it in both win 2003 computers.
-   the second win2003 computer is in a LAN.
is there any sugestion?
