SQL 2008 Add data source

I have a new install of SQL 2008 and want to add a data source to my PC so I can see the tables in MS Access. The database is not showing when I try add new.
I have SQL client installed and I can see a SQL 2005 server in the list.

You can create a linked server to Access Database from SQL Server as given below..

http://www.aspfree.com/c/a/Microsoft-Access/Configuring-a-Linked-Microsoft-Access-Server-on-SQL-2005-Server/

Once you create the linked server, you should be able to access tables without any problems from SQL Server...

Link explains how to do it in SQL Server 2005 and there is no much difference in SQL Server 2008.
