The module varies, but seems to be related to error reporting.  Error is showing up continually since it started about 1am.  I also saw this in the the System Log about 3:30am

I restarted the Windows Internal Database (Microsoft ##SSEE) & so far the errors are gone.  I am also now able to pull a Server Performance report.

I'm having the same problem. What exactly did you restart and what was your method?

Thanks.

BurnXAuthor Commented:
1. Select Start>Run & type in Services.msc
2. Scroll Down to Windows Internal Database (Microsoft ##SSEE)
3. Right Click on it & select Restart (or Start if it isn't running)

This fixed that error, but I also had a 2nd related error with WSUS (Windows Update Services) not working properly.  I fixed that by Restarting Update Services using the same method above.

I would like to have this question be opened again.  The "Accepted Solution" does not fix this in at least some cases.  I tried both of the items above and am still getting this error from SQL MMgmt. Studio Express 2005:
************************************

TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express
------------------------------

An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Express.ConnectionInfo)

------------------------------

Access to table dbo.backupset is blocked because the signature is not valid. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 33002)

My WSUS server is 3.0.x  Running on Windows Server 2008 x64 with all service packs and patches.  The WSUS server is running and properly sees the computers I have pointed to it by changing their registry.  Status is good and all updates were pulled down also.  But none of the approved updates are being pushed out to the proper computers any longer.  I do not know if this error is related to that.  I did define a backup device and performed a local backup.  I am using SQL Managment Studio Express for 2005.  That is where I see the above error.
