Convert FROM VirtualBox TO vmWare

Hi,
I had a VirtualBox-vdi-file, but a user wanted to use vmWare. I found that I could convert the vdi file with VBoxManage. I used:

VBoxManage convertfromraw Filenamefrom filenameto --version ESX

From this I got a VMDK-file. What do I do with it to use it with vmWare Player?

You need to load the config file(vmx) for the VM, vmdk is the virtual disk file, it cant be loaded without the vmx file
Check out the following sites

ASKER

I managed to make vmxbuilder work (had to download some library because of some TABCTL32.OCX missing and then reinstall :), but it did not want to read my VMDK-file. I am trying now to convert the vdi-file again using --format VDMK (instead of --version ESX). I will lett you know!
