I'm running 64 bit SQL Express 2005 on  a 2008 server.  I need SQL client tools installed so that commvault can see the database.  When I go to install the client tools I get this error message:

Error: a valid destination folder for the install could not be determined.

I'm using the install files downloaded from the MS volume license agreement web site.

Uninstall all other versions of SSMS from your machine using Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

And then install SSMSE from the link below

This should work fine now..
