I have a database that can only get accessed by one user.  All the other users get an error that states;

Connection Failed:
SQLState: '2800'
SQL Server Error: 18456
[Miscrosoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'DOMAIN\user'.

There was some Active Directory changes before this failure but all the settings for the users denied have been checked.  to put a spin on it, the user that is allowed can only access the database from her machine.  If she attempts to login to the database on another machine she gets the same errors.  I am assuming she is using some sort of cached credentials on her local workstation.

The database is located on an SQL server and the shortcut is redirected from a file on everyone's C:/

SQL is using windows authentication but it appears this may be some sort of issue with SQL authentication not being in tune with A/D.  Just a guess.

Please help me out, I have a bunch of data entry people ready to hurl me out of a 5th story window any second.

Thanks for everyones attention.
