Windows removes permanent Static Route
I have a Windows 2003 Server and Im trying to add a permanent static route using the following command:
route -p add 10.10.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 10.50.68.254 if 0x20005
the route gets added, I check the route print and the route is there, I have connectivity to the remote servers I need to connect to, so far so good, so I log off.
15 minutes later I reconnect to the same server where the route was added, and to my surprise the route that I just added 15 minutes ago is gone.
I have added the route at least four times already, and every time the same thing happens.
Any ideas as to why the route is being removed?
