Blackberry User on BES Can't Send Mail Externally
This is a common question, and the answer is usually the 'send as' permission is gone, and/or they are also admins and need a special script run against the server to get it working again.
Neither one is the case with this particular problem. The user can send mail fine to other users in the organization, just not to contacts outside the organization.
No other Blackberry users have this problem.
What else can I do?
The error message on the red x's is "Desktop email program was unable to submit message."

Sorry - missed this comment.
Exchange 2003 is the server and everything else appears to be working fine.
I've tried restarting the router service as well as the entire server with the same problem.
All other mailflow is working. I'll check the confirm suggestion - haven't tried that.
I'll also try the BBCheck and post back.

Event logs are showing multiple errors:
{username@domain.com} MAPIMailbox: end(ppMAPIMessage) - SubmitMessage (0x80004005) failed
Sending an email to one of the users with <confirm> as the subject did send a delivery confirmation.
The results of bbcheck are attached.

Ended up just wiping out all the permissions and setting them manually. Everything is working now with no explanation. Thanks for the effort.
