How to show which folders administrator cannot access

mortenhem used Ask the Experts™
How do I get a list of the NTFS folders the administrator user can not access. Is there a tool which can analyze that and tell me that. The tools has to look at the files to.

So the tool must be able to crawl an entire volume of folders and files and tell which folders and files the the administrator can not access.

I'd suggest running a "cacls *.* /C /T  > d:\Outputfile.txt" command to display all the direcories/files in a drive, output to a folder.  Uses the slash that continues on "Access denied" errors.

In your text file, open and search for "access denied"

It will give you a place to start looking at the very least.
