How to re-enable a domain server running win server 2003? I had this server working fine until an upgrade (SP2), after the reboot I got the following message: "Security Accounts managerinitialization failed because of the following error: Directory service cannot start. Error status 0xc00002e1. Please click ok to shutdown the system. ou can use the recovery console to diagnose the system further" I tried to recover from a knew good configuration but it never starts even in safe mode( I chose every single option without success) so I decided a new installation but here is the big question: do I need to do something special before the reinstallation? Remove it from the domain?
