We have a Win2003 server configured as a mail server (not exchange just an SMTP server within IIS), We use it to send out email blasts to our customers.
We inadvertantly sent an email out to the wrong distribution list. It was 7000 recipients. Moments after we clicked send, we realized our mistake.
I logged onto the server, opened the IIS console, and disabled the SMTP server.
Two questions: Is there any way for me to tell how many went out before I stopped it?
Second Question: How can I delete the ones that haven't gone out so that they won't go when I re-enable the server.
