Im getting ready to update my LAN.
Im currently running a single domain with
three Windows 2000 Servers,
1- The DC, is also the print server
2- one with SQL 2000 Standard Edition running on it
3- one that is just a file server
And 80 workstations, mostly Windows 2000 Pro, some XP.

Can I update my domain with the following  - or am I missing something?

3 Windows 2008 Standard Servers
Windows SQL 2008 Standard
At least 80 CALs

Unless the answer is yes  I expect to learn a few things here. I plan to divide points among those answers that prove most useful.

PS  The application vendors assure me that the programs using SQL 2000 will handle the change to SQL 2008 just fine, I will of course have to reconfigure them to point to the new database files that have had the data migrated to them.
