Jetform print multiple page
Initially, our /opt/jetform/bin/jfp filename quitted working with errors
/opt/jetform/bin/jfp[1]: ^job Not found
/opt/jetform/bin/jfp[2]: ^field XYZ Not found
/opt/jetform/bin/jft[3]: #####
....
I revised my code to
cp filename /opt/jetform/jfsrvr/contro l/
It works for single form, but it will not work with multi-pages.
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance, Wally

Thank you, Both,
Hi Gheist,
I meant to say, since the jfp malfunction, I made the change and could only print one document as a time. for example, I could send a series of ten invoices, and ten of them printed fine with 'jfp', now if I do the same, only the last one be printed. It is printed to networked printer and on HPux environment.
uname -a
HP-UX hostname B.11.11 U 9000/800
Thanks for your help.

Reading bare bits of its functionality here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JetForm
I assume it sends header containing the form with first form, and only form content after, and it gets reset by spooler inserting ^D for subsequent spool jobs.
Sending initialization with every form helps if other software accesses printer.
If other software does not access printer - you might be able to configure all the spoolers to not do any conversions or reset codes, but there still might be some problems.

Thanks, gheist,
Are you familiar with the functionality of jfp as described from the initial email or the control directory, Ggeist ?

I captured the .dat file and able to print it correctly every times.
Yes - you can print every first page after dat file in same print job. "cat file.dat %1" should be your print filter to print next pages from Jetform.

Is printer local or networked?
Is it putting all in single job for multiuser environment?
uname -a from HP-UX can be of help
