- What is the &quot;NAS&quot; stands for? 
- Is this a product of what company? 
- Is this just a kind of &quot;Free Space&quot; or Hard Drive? 
- This NAS is only a box or what? 
- I believe there must be an Operating System which should be installed in the Box; Which OS are they? 
- How this NAS (that i believe &quot;a box&quot;) will be connected to the Domain Controller or a Server that manage it? is it using the Cat 5 cable or Fiber Optic cable or both? 
- Tell other things related to this that you think are necessary please

Storage: NAS and SAN

Computer data storage, often called storage or memory, is a technology consisting of computer components and recording media used to retain digital data. In addition to local storage devices like CD and DVD readers, hard drives and flash drives, solid state drives can hold enormous amounts of data in a very small device. Cloud services and other new forms of remote storage also add to the capacity of devices and their ability to access more data without building additional data storage into a device.
