This is an XP Pro client pc connected to an SBS 2008 domain.

When the pc boots up, it will sit there for 20 mins with the message 'Running Startup Scripts' on the screen. After that, the 'Press Ctrl Alt Delete' window appears as normal.

I found by accident that If i boot up the machine without the network cable plugged in, I dont see this message at all. So for now we are only plugging in the network cable after the logon prompt appears.

Anyone care to suggest what is happening here?
