Free email client for Mac OS 9

I have a G3 4oomhz, 9.1 imac looking to install another email client besides Outlook. The older versions of Eudoria for os 9 will not work because you do not enter a username and our email server requires a username

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Heres the thing. They already have Outlook for the personal email. They want another client for another email account. It has to be free.

Outlook Express, Outlook 2001 and and Claris are all free.

Are they using "Outlook" or "Outlook Express"? Outlook and Outlook Express are both free. If it's a no to all those then they may be SOL. You may be able to find an old version of Netscape navigator somewhere that has an email client built-in.

Evidentially you cannot get Green anymore, the download link no longer exists

Yep...no longer in development.

What's wrong with using Outlook Express? Only assuming they're using Outlook 2001? It will do exactly what they need.

They want to keep the accounts seperate/private, up to 3 accounts.

Understandable...but, if they're using Outlook they can use Outlook Express or Vis Versa. Also,  you can have multiple identities in either one of those for use with separate and private email accounts. Beyond this, you will not have much of an option.
