asked on

why do I have 2 W7 at boot up

Hey EE, my sys specs are, Asus p5n-t deluxe, Intel qx6800 extreme, 4g Corsair dominator ram, 2hd's, 320 Seagates, Pioneer bdr203bks blue ray burner, Pioneer dvd, BFG GTX280 ocx, video card, SB X-fi titanium sound card.
OK I did a clean install from XP to W7. During the install I had "many" issues like not being able to use my use My book for back up. The install just hung at about 70% for over an hour. Then I couldn't burn blue ray after the install.
Anyway when I boot I have 2 W7 to choose from. 1 works the other just stops after 20 seconds. How do I get rid of the one that doesn't work. Reinstall? I hope I'm not revisiting Vista. I had install problems with that also. After spending close to $600. on both, I would like to have an OS work. lol  Thanks for your help.
