On Dreamweaver CS3 for Mac, the link gets halfway through processing and hangs.  It doesn't always to it on the same page.  Any ideas?

Have you tried updating the site cache?

Commented:
Yes I did a few times.  I also tried moving the folder and re-pointing where the folder is.

Disable the cache and try it?

Also, are your links all local or mixed between local and external URLs.

I decided to create a new site and moved everything to that folder.  It works, but now its doing the thing again where, when I do  synchronize, it is asking to delete files that don't have complete file names.

When you go to synchronize, there is an option to "Delete Files not found on X" where is X is local or remote, depending on the synch used.  Just disable that checkbox and it won't prompt you to delete.

no, I do want to delete.  I am just not getting complete file names.  This has happened before, and i had to put something in the host folder like "/" - but that didn't work.

I can't tell what the problem is from this description.  Post screen captures if you can.

I have had this happen before. I had to put in "./" for the remote host directory.  Not sure why this happens, but other people have complained about this too.  It doesn't give complete files names when you are synchronizing, so it doesn't actually delete files.
