Hi All,

Currently we are looking to implement a number of Windows 7 machines into our 2003 AD.

Now other than not being able to control the new W7 features, will i lose any functionality with my old group policies? or will W7 know what to do with all of them?

I have a feeling Microsoft would have developed it to do so, but cannot find any information.

Any help would be great.

Every feature you can use on XP or Vista would be supported in Win7
some of the new features, specially the Policy related changes require Win2008

All old group policies will work as long as the setting is supported in Windows 7.

You can even take advantage of the Group Policy Preferences (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/grouppolicy/cc817590.aspx) when using one of the new Windows7 machines to manage them.
