Deleteing huge folder

Hi
I need to delete the Badmails folder. I've renamed it and want to delete it.
I tried with shift-delete, but it said 'preparing to delete' for 2 hours.
Is there any cammand line utility that can do the job?

You can just use the command prompt and navigate to the folder and type del *.* but if there is a lot of files this will take along time, you can then delete the folder.

Hopefully you have re-created an empty folder with the same name?
Hi Robert,

Have a look at the following:

the command line should still work it will just take a while.

The other option is to bulk select the files in Windows Explorer and SHIFT+DEL

Just don't do them all at the same time.

Gary > Not sure that will work now the folder has been renamed?
What did you do in the end?
