AS400 - possible to delete writers?
We recently migrated from printing to AS400 writers to now using OUTQ's instead.
I would like to delete all the old writers to prevent them being accidentally printed to as it causes issues that only our IT dept can sort out each time.
Trying to print to one that doesn't exist doesn't allow you to continue which is perfect.
I look in WRKWTR, and they are all sitting at Status "End". However there's no option to delete them.
There appears to be no DLTWTR command or anything similar that I can find.
Is it possible, does anyone know how?
