Un-Explained Network Traffic From XP Client to 2K3 Server
Hi,
I noticed the other day at a clients that the little network icon in the bottom right of the taskbar was always lit. Upon inspecition it showed constant traffic in and out.
A person on EE suggested that I use traffic shaper XP to see the details. So I installed it and it does show unusual traffic. Please see the screenshot below. The traffic is always 300+ K and goes constantly to the file/print server. Offline files on the desktop is not configured, and a virus scan and anti-malware scan shows clean. The user has noticed some performance slow downs.
Any help on what is it, or how to stop it would be greatly appreciated.

These answeres helped. However they had a power failure and the server rebooted. After that there has been no unusual traffic.
