I want to check remote machines have the windows firewall turned on, and the way that I would like to do this is by using some type of batch file perhaps.  I would like to have this batch file execute when the users logs in, the program would then simply check if the firewall is turned on and write this information to a central repository indicating the computer name and status of the firewall.

Does anyone have any scripts already built up to do such a job?

Thanks.
