I can't get Apache Tomcat to run on my Windows 2008 R2 x64 server.
When I try to start the service I get an error:

"Windows could not start the Apache Tomcat 6 on the local computer. For more information review the System Event Log. "

This is how I installed it:

Went to http://tomcat.apache.org/download-60.cgi and download 3 files:
1 - apache-tomcat-6.0.20.zip  - Downloaded an unzipped to create folder
2 - apache-tomcat-6.0.20-deployment.zip  - Downloaded an unzipped to create folder
3 - apache-tomcat-6.0.20.exe - Downloaded and ran

It installed it here:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0

When I try to start the service it fails.
So I found the x64 executables and overwrote them here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\bin

and it still won't start.
