Server 2003 Logon Hang
Hello All,
Experiencing a new issue and nothing in my event logs to support this. When I logon to all of my servers It takes over a minute to bring up the desktop. The Applying setings and loading windows appear very quickly but then it sits at a blue screen. I enabled verbose logging and pinpointed where it was hanging as follows:
USERENV(d98.390) 19:09:19:257 ApplyGroupPolicy: Leaving successfully.
USERENV(1440.b98) 19:09:19:288 LibMain: Process Name: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userin it.exe
USERENV(d98.10ec) 19:10:23:194 IsSyncForegroundPolicyRefr esh: Synchronous, Reason: policy set to SYNC
during the login between 19:09:19 and 19:10:23 it is hanging for over a minute with no explanation, and any help would be appreciated. I have checked most of the obvious stuff, my dc's are all in great shape with no events in the logs and the same goes for all of my other servers. Nothing to reflect this problem in the logs.

ASKER
How Can I accomplish this? Simple GPO settings?

Also, will it stil load the GPO's or will it not run logon scripts properly like driving mapping and printer mapping?
