VMware Server2: Guest Fedora11: unable to start; getting a gnome install problem msg.

Hello Experts,

I have been using Fedora 11 for a while now. I have tone of data in this virtual machine that I can not afford to lose.

This morning when I tried to login. I get the Install problem msg below. Then, after attempting to login, the screen is black...

Any thoughts?

Install Problem!
The configuration defaults for GNOME Power Manager have not been installed correctly. Please contact your computer administrator
