Hi;
I am using a DELL XPS laptop, and just upgrade to Windows 7 Enterprise last night. My laptop come with a built-in webcam but after upgrade, it does not work. When I tried to open the Web Cam Manager application provided by DELL, it said "WMVCore.dll is missing..."
Any idea to fix it?

Download the dll file first
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?wmvcore
Once the download is done, throw it into the system32 folder and reboot your system to apply the changes
If that doesn't work, open up a command prompt in 7 from the start menu and type in regsvr32 wmvcore.dll then press enter to register the dll in Windows.

No luck with this dll file. When I tried to regsvr32 wmvcore.dll, it said 'The module wmvcore.dll failed to load...", even though I ran this command in System32 folder of Win 7.
Try placing the file in the SysWOW32 folder. I'm not exactly sure about the Windows 7 File structure but I DO know that Vista and 64 bit versions of Windows run dll files out of that SysWOW32 folder.
When you put that dll file in that WOW32 folder, redo the regsvr32 command with that dll and let me know what you find.

I did the similar thing, I copied the missing DLL file from my another installation machine that is Windows 7 Ultimate, I copied all missing DLL file to my own computer, then it work.
The problem is that, I don't know why the Windows Media Player 12 not installed on my installation (Enterprise edition), therefore a lot of software such as Gotomeeting, DELL WebCam manager which require Windows Media Player component not working until I copied the missing DLL file.

Try to reinstall Windows Media Player 12 back to my Windows 7 but Microsoft has no download at their site. Any idea to fix the Windows Media Player 12.

Thanks for the link but this version is not for Windows 7. I tried to install but didn't work.
From Softonic:
Notes:
Windows Media Player 12 is still not available for download as a standalone application. The only way to try it out is by downloading Windows 7 RC.
