Eseutil fails with Jet Errors when running on Exchange 2003 standard database
I am sorry I don't remember the exact error and I don't have the down time to run it again. The Exchange 2003 Database is close to the 75GB limit and we have purged out old e-mail in the account. since so much has changed we wanted to defrag the database by using eseutil.exe. I tried running it twice but get a Jet database error that it cannot complete. If anyone has some ideas of why this error would occur I would appreciate it. If I need too I will find some after hours time to run the utility again and get the exact error code.
Can please provide a Eseutil fails with Jet Errors code.

I think I can get some down time tonight for a error code report. I will post it as soon as I can. Thanks if anyone has any thoughts on this without the error code would be great.
The disk defragmentation process rearranges the data that is stored on the computer's hard disks so that the files are more contiguous. Defragmentation helps increase data access and retrieval speed. When you defragment your hard disks, you can increase disk performance and help the servers in your organization run more smoothly and efficiently.

You can also check you white space Eevent is 1221 on your Exchage Database.

I would start off with how much white space you are going to gain from event ID 1221.
The 75gb limit is logical - therefore as long as the physical size minus the white space is below 75gb then you are fine.
